The revival of Twenty-One Pips is bringing an elevated gaming and dining experience to Ardmore, writes Ernest Owens for Eater via MSN.

The popular restaurant that offered board game lovers a place to dine and play together has gone through a revamp to raise the fun bar even higher.

Now diners and gamers can enjoy a new “gaming lounge” with cozier furniture and over 400 new games to play. There will also be a “gametender” who can assist players acting as a “game whisperer” if you will, helping with picking out games and with game strategy.

Chef John E. Taus of JET Hospitality has also joined the Twenty-One Pips’ team to create a more expansive menu for diners to enjoy, including lamb merguez slides and crab & chili flatbread.

“When guests come through our doors, we want to offer them the best of all worlds — great food, quality cocktails, ample spirit free beverages, hundreds of new games and elite vibes,” owner Matthew Hendricks said.

On the addition of “gametenders,” he said, “I like to think of the gametender as the Main Line’s only concierge for gamers. Their focus is on ensuring guests don’t have to navigate confusing rules so everyone can get straight to having a great time.”
