New leadership is taking the reins in Daniel’s Restaurant and Cocktail Bar in Conshohocken, with updated menus and an enhanced ambiance, writes Ed Williams for Main Line Today.

The restaurant’s namesake, chef Daniel Brodeur, is no longer with the company. But the new owners, Kurt Benkurt and Annalise Long, with their several years of service in the hospitality industry, revamped the establishment to give customers an “upscale and approachable experience.”

The seasonal menu is an eclectic mix of cuisine from around the globe, including Asian, Latin, and Mediterranean influences. Spearheaded by executive chef James Chun, the offerings include tender octopus, piri-piri chicken, and crispy chicken boa buns.

While sitting at the 80-seat bar area, patrons can enjoy a selection of craft cocktails including the whiskey-based Smoking Barrel, espresso martinis, and the Lilly Pad, which is made from fresh lemon, Lillet Blanc, and cucumber.

In addition to scrumptious dishes, the restaurant also offers happy hours ever Wednesday through Friday, a private dining experience, weekend brunch, a late-night menu and live jazz on Thuursdays.
