Daddy Tom’s Cocktail Lounge made its grand debut in Bristol, serving the community craft cocktails in a speakeasy setting, reports Daniella Heminghaus for the Bucks County Courier Times.

“We look at this as science and art. It’s not just juice in a glass,” said lead bartender Shane McKeon.

Daddy Tom’s is hidden behind a bookcase at 304 Wine and Beer, accessed through the daily password posted on the lounge’s Instagram.

McKeon ensures that patrons will taste every ingredient in the drink and praises the Bristol community for being super welcoming.

The drink menu includes a twist on classic cocktails, including the “Another Espresso Martini”, “Filthy Martini” made from olive oil infused Tito’s vodka, a negroni made from mezcal, chocolate bitters, coffee-infused Campari and vermouth, and the highball of the month.

Despite standing out from the other bars on Mill Street drag, Bristol residents are excited to try it out.

“There’s a place for mixology in the borough,” says McKeon.
