The wedding of Nzinga Gocking and Vidalina Rodriguez at Location 215 in Callowhill in late spring was a celebration of the couple’s decade-long relationship, writes Taylor Carson for Philadelphia.

The couple first met while they were both working at Target in Abington, and they had their first date at Johnny Rockets on South Street in 2012.

Rodriguez proposed to Gocking on Thanksgiving in 2019.

“I did my best to keep it a secret until it was time for everyone to share what they were thankful for,” Rodriguez said.

“When it was our turn, I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me.”

The couple designed their Boho-Chic wedding to celebrate their love using inspiration from nature. They wanted to showcase the warm soft glow of the rising and setting sun.

Papertini brought in the colors of the sky at dawn and dusk through the wedding flowers and décor.

“The range of warm, soft colors and glow experienced during that time captured everything we were looking for in a color scheme,” Gocking said.

Peach Plum Pear Photography captured the special day for the couple and a special sign was made by Conshohocken’s WestNinthVintage for their sweetheart table.
