The Cohens’ delicious recipe for bagels which began in their kitchen at home during the pandemic now has a faithful following of customers.

Since its opening on Valentine’s Day, Kismet Bagels Luncheonette in Penn Valley has been quickly embraced by the Main Line community, writes Ben Silver for Main Line Today.

Owned by Alexandra and Jacob Cohen, the eatery is the newest location where customers can enjoy the Cohens’ special recipe for bagels.

The vintage lunch counter has limited seating available and an extended menu including homemade ice cream and donuts.

The Cohens’ delicious recipe for bagels which began in their kitchen at home during the pandemic now has a faithful following of customers.

What keeps them coming back is not only the good food but the passion the Cohens have for their craft.

They first started selling to neighbors and held a few pop-ups and then soon bigger businesses like Gopuff and Di Bruno Bros. wanted to carry their bagels.

They opened their first brick-and-mortar location in Fishtown, and then their Rittenhouse Square and Reading Terminal Market locations soon followed.
