Merion’s Hymie’s Delicatessen Reopens Weeks After Flooding Shut It Down

Hymie’s announced its comeback with a video of tempting treats that its customers can now enjoy for breakfast, brunch and lunch.

Longtime patrons of Hymie’s Delicatessen in Merion have been going through withdrawal these last few weeks while their favorite restaurant was closed for repairs after unexpected water damage, writes Dan Stamm for NBC 10.

On Monday they received the news they were patiently waiting for. Hymie’s opened back up for business on Monday, February 26.

The water damage was the result of a water main break in January that left over 5 feet of water in the basement.

Hymie’s announced its comeback with a video of tempting treats that its customers can now enjoy for breakfast, brunch and lunch.
