A developer is proposing a 94-unit apartment building in Roxborough near Montgomery County, writes Ryan Mulligan for Philadelphia Business Journal.

The project to be built at 6174-6182 Ridge Avenue has been modified from an earlier version and is expected to be reviewed by the city of Philadelphia in February.

The building will span almost 100,000 square feet across five stories and will include about 22,000 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor.

The property being proposed by Philadelphia-based MGMT Residential will also have 71 underground parking spaces.

Stokes Architecture and Design and Ingram/Sageser have designed the new multi-use development to be horseshoe in shape and to include a green roof, balconies on some units, and courtyard space that would flow into the adjacent Roxborough Pocket Park.

Earlier iterations of the project had less first-floor commercial space and fewer apartment units
