Less than a year after its opening, Round House in Lansdale closed its doors permanently on January 14, according to a staff report from the Breweries in Pennsylvania.

Round House opened in March 2023 on South Wood Street in a location that was previously home to Round Guys Brewing. Following the closure, Round Guys Brewing, which still has the lease on the space, decided to reopen a taproom at the same spot within a week of Round House closing.

Round House announced the closure in a Facebook post.

“We are proud of the beautiful space we built and the product and service we offered our guests,” wrote Round House. “We are appreciative of the support we received from the community and so thankful of the many great relationships we made over the year.”

Round House was the result of a partnership between Round Guys Brewing Company and JGCE. The goal was to bring a new look to the original brewpub. The facility was fully renovated and expanded with new food and drink menus.
