A Bryn Mawr native, Lieberman was a graduate of Unionville High School, Susquehanna University, and Franklin College in Switzerland

Over the last four decades, he was the architect of the Chester County Press. Under his leadership, the newspaper grew in circulation and expanded its editorial content. It also broadened its online readership and is still providing thousands of local residents with reliable and often exclusive reporting on a plethora of local issues, including politics, schools and school districts, arts and entertainment, and business and commerce.

Lieberman and his wife, Amy, have been together for 32 years and have raised their two children, Avery and Stone, in Landenberg. There, Lieberman was a key member of the Mushroom Festival and served as president of the New Garden Township Open Space Review Board.

“He made people feel good about life, about neighbors, about our history, and about being civically informed,” said Chris Robinson, a member of the New Garden Township Open Space Review Board.
