Penn State Abington Grad Is Making a Name for Herself in Applied Behavior Analysis

Quintara Tucker is an author, trainer, speaker, and coach and works with ABA professionals in public schools, clinics, and home settings.

Quintara Tucker, a Pennsylvania State Abington graduate, has launched two Applied Behavioral Analysis firms as she makes a name for herself in the field, writes Ryan Genova for Glenside Local.

Applied Behavior Analysis is a type of therapy based on principles of learning and behavior. It is commonly used in special education and as a treatment for autism spectrum disorder.

She is an author, trainer, speaker, and coach and works with ABA professionals in public schools, clinics, and home settings.

Tucker founded ABA Sissyahs LLC with her sister to support ABA students and professionals and she has a separate consulting business where she provides multicultural, trauma-informed, and natural environment coaching for parents to use at home.

She is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and an International Behavior Analyst. She has a master’s degree in developmental psychology and is a licensed behavior specialist.

She comes back to Abington often to support Penn State Abington students through the Abington Alumni Society Board and the I’m First program.

Tucker hopes to complete her doctorate in applied behavior analysis next year.
