Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro has a new slogan for his administration, and he is not afraid to use a little profanity to show how serious he is about making change, writes FOX 29 staff.

He says simply he wants to “get sh— done.”

During a recent press conference at the Johnstown YMCA, he gave a G-rated version of his slogan because there were kids present.

“We’ve got a GSD attitude in the Shapiro administration that means we focus on getting, you know, stuff done. There’s children here, so we’ll just say ‘stuff’.”

The phrase has become a popular governing philosophy for Shapiro, but also for a group of governors who are trying to build their national profiles.

Shapiro first introduced the S-word slogan last summer when he announced the reopening of I-95 only 12 days after a tractor-trailer accident caused a section to collapse. Most of the time he substitutes the S-word with “stuff.”

“GSD” is the title of his latest media tour, and his social media team refers to it a lot.

Shapiro’s press secretary Manuel Bonder said, “It’s something that’s representative of how the governor feels about governing and leading and trying to make government work more efficiently and getting things done for people.”
