‘The Bachelor’ Joey Graziadei Dishes About Growing Up in Montgomery County
In an interview with The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Beatrice Forman, “The Bachelor” Joey Graziadei chats about growing up in Montgomery County.
Graziadei was born in Royersford and played Division II tennis at West Chester University before moving to Hawaii so the Philadelphia suburbs, especially Montgomery County, is his home turf.
A fan favorite on Charity Lawson’s season of “The Bachelorette,” Graziadei is hoping to find his own true love on “The Bachelor;” his season premiered on Monday.
The new season is filled with Philadelphia references.
Three of the contestants vying for his love are from Philly — two of them sisters — and the show will feature stops at LOVE Park and the Collegeville Italian Bakery.
“The bakery had this sign that said, ‘Find your jawn,’ and I just loved explaining what that meant to everyone,” he said.
When asked what his perfect Philly date would if he got the chance to redo the hometown date, he said, “I always say go to a sports game. I actually gave it as an option. But ideally, we’d go to a Phillies, Eagles, or Flyers tailgate and then the game. For dinner, I’d go a little less formal and go to Angelo’s to get a good slice of pizza or a good cheesesteak.”
