Ryan O’Hearn, first baseman for the Baltimore Orioles, had a great hitting streak last season and aims to improve on that with the help of a Montgomery County hitting coach, writes Todd Karpovich for PressBox.

2023 was a breakout season for O’Hearn who had previously played for the Kansas City Royals for 5 seasons where he had a few tough seasons.

He seems to have found a better fit with the Orioles, however.

He hit 14 homers and 60 RBIs in 112 games with Baltimore in 2023 and he is working with Brain & Barrel in King of Prussia to elevate his performance even more.

The company founded by hitting coach Dan Hennigan focuses on both mind and muscle when it comes to an athlete’s performance.

The Orioles won the American League East in 2023, the first time since 2014, and O’Hearn is excited about how much further the team can go in 2024.

He said, “…there are zero limits to what the Orioles can do next year as far as I’m concerned.”
