Asher’s Chocolate Co. in Souderton is an expert at making yummy treats after more than 130 years devoted to the craft, writes Amanda Brady for Localish.
The company was started in 1892 by Chester Asher and the business is still in the family today.
While Asher’s Chocolate Co. is a well-known name, not many people know what exactly goes into making popular treats like chocolate-covered pretzels and chocolate-covered graham crackers.
On a recent visit, Localish got the inside scoop on how Asher’s makes its pretzels and other chocolate candies.
