6abc recently surprised Melissa Klapper, who lives in Montgomery County and teaches history at Rowan University, with exciting news, writes Alicia Vitarelli for 6abc.

Klapper has been invited to participate in Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions after becoming a three-game winner on “Jeopardy!” back in March.

Her winnings totaled $59,100.

Klapper had been waiting to see if she would be invited back for the Champions Wildcard competition, but instead, host Ken Jennings told her in a special message that she was going straight to the Tournament of Champions instead.

“I have been waiting to find out when I get a chance to go back,” she said. “I’m very excited about the opportunity to play again.”

She called the invitation to compete in the Tournament of Champions “really, really special and a privilege”.

Klapper added that she will be practicing her buzzer skills over the holidays. The tournament will be taped in early February.
