Lower Merion’s 1996 State Champion Basketball Team to Be Inducted in Hall of Fame

The PIAA state champions will be inducted into the Lower Merion Hall of Fame before the Lower Merion-Methacton boys’ basketball game scheduled for 6 p.m.

On Dec. 9, Lower Merion High School’s 1996 boys’ basketball team, including Kobe Bryant, will be honored at the Kobe Bryant Play-By-Play Classic, writes the staff at Main Line Media News.

The PIAA state champions will be inducted into the Lower Merion Hall of Fame before the Lower Merion-Methacton boys’ basketball game scheduled for 6 PM.

The Kobe Bryant Play-By-Play Classic will be held at Lower Merion High School.

The 2023 Lower Merion boys’ basketball team started its season with an 85-73 win against West Chester Henderson on Dec. 2.

The Lower Merion girls’ basketball team recently defeated Oxford 53-52 and won its host tournament title for the second time in five years.
