Saying that Philadelphia Eagles fans bleed green is no hyperbole. The fan base here is like no other and Norristown native Jimmy Gorecki has teamed up with the Philadelphia Eagles and Standard Issue to pay homage to the fans, writes Jonathan Evans for Esquire.

Gorecki, who now lives in Los Angeles, is a skater-turned-designer. He has created his own brand JSP and launched the label Standard Issue with his business partner Jarod Lee.

Although Jimmy Gorecki no longer lives in the Philadelphia area, he hasn’t forgotten his roots and wanted to create an apparel and accessory collection that celebrates the diehard loyalty of Philly fans.

“It is a different fan base. But as tough as they are, they are hella smart and they know their shit,” he said.

Through a collaboration between JSP, Standard Issue, and the Eagles, Gorecki has launched the Generational Collection which tells the story of the Eagles fandom through the years.

In the collection are two sweatshirts, one in midnight green and one in the vintage Eagles Kelly green. There are also sweatpants to match.

Gorecki said he was inspired by tailgates at Eagles games where fans show up wearing “different eras of gear.”
