Adam Lieb, a certified strength and conditioning specialist who owns Chester County Training, is sharing his 2024 predictions for fitness trends, writes Courtney Diener-Stokes for The Daily Local News.

Lieb has seen the increased popularity of weight training compared to 10 years ago when most people gravitated towards treadmills or ellipticals in the gym. Now, fitness enthusiasts have found that lifting weights is the key to many health benefits.

“Research shows that one of the best predictors of longevity is the amount of muscle mass a person has,” he said. “Research has also shown that people can make significant gains in strength and muscle mass at any age.”

His fitness predictions a rise in fitness studio attendance, group fitness classes, personal training, and technology advancements.

Lieb shared that when people find their niche in strength training, they want to hit up singular studios that allow them to participate in fun group classes or get hands-on guidance from trainers like himself at Chester County Training that commercial gyms can’t offer.

Additional predictions are the use of fitness tech and apps. There is bound to be better fitness and health-tracking technology that is wearable such as watches, along with apps that help you meet your lifestyle goals.
