CBS News sports anchor Pat Gallen and producers Becca King, Sutton Sinclair, and Andrew Greth, joined local youth at Reach Climbing and Fitness in Bridgeport on Monday for a rock-climbing event that was organized by the KB Foundation, reports CBS News Philadelphia.

The KB Foundation is a mentoring program that helps youths in the Philadelphia area build developmental and social competencies through educational, recreational, and hands-on learning experiences.

The programming is led by dedicated mentors and offers activities aimed at focusing on team building, healthy decision-making for both mind and body, community connectedness, conflict resolution, attainment of education, and career exploration.

The kids who attended the KB Foundation Rock Climbing event reached new heights, both figuratively and literally, and all the adults had as much fun as the younger participants.

“That was a good time!” said Gallen. “Talking to kids and just really bonding. It was good stuff.”
