2 Montco Schools Top Final Pennsylvania High School Field Hockey Ranking of 2023

The Hill School placed second in the final ranking with a record of 17-3-0. The PAISAA championship finalists improved on their last year’s placement when they ranked at No. 3.

Two Montgomery County schools have topped the final Pennsylvania high school field hockey ranking of 2023 and made the top three national rankings, writes Jana Benscoter for Female Athlete News.

According to MAX Field Hockey, following an intense postseason, The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova and The Hill School in Pottstown came out as the top two programs in the state.

The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur ranked first in Pennsylvania with a record of 20-1-0. The school, which won the PAISAA championship, repeated its success from the previous year when it also ranked at No. 1.

The Hill School placed second in the final ranking with a record of 17-3-0. The PAISAA championship finalists improved on their last year’s placement when they ranked at No. 3.

The Academy of Notre Dame de Namur also ranked in the top nationally, with The Hill School coming in third in the national ranking.
