Hatboro Chamber of Commerce Recognizes 4 Businesses for Decade of Service
The downtown district in Hatboro has been experiencing a transformation as plans move forward on the construction of apartment buildings with retail space on the first floor, writes Dino Ciliberti for Patch.
As the Hatboro Chamber of Commerce focuses on drawing more shoppers downtown, it is also celebrating businesses that have longstanding records of serving the community.
The chamber recently highlighted the decade of service provided by four businesses: Nonno’s Bakery, Littles/John Deere of Hatboro, Amy’s Pizzeria, and Cosmic Primate Tattoo.
“Congratulations for 10 years and counting,” the chamber said.
Mayor Tim Schultz pointed out that two of the honorees are family-owned business. Nonno’s owners came to the area from Brooklyn and offer traditional Italian bakery favorites like cannoli and marzipan.
He added that Amy’s Pizzeria, the other family-owned business, often donates pizza to borough events and supports the police and fire departments.
