Where to Celebrate Halloween with the Kids Around the Main Line

In downtown Narberth starting around Forrest and Haverford Avenues, a hunt for “the witchiest witches around” will commence on October 28.

The Main Line area has a ton of family-friendly Halloween events lined up for you and your kids to check out, writes Laura Swartz for Philadelphia Magazine.

Colonial Gardens’ Pumpkinland

Colonial Gardens located in Phoenixville is celebrating Halloween with hayrides, a corn maze, a haunted hedge maze and a Halloween funhouse. Will run through October 31.

Pumpkinland and Hayrides to the Witch’s House at Linvilla Orchards

Linvilla Orchards located in Media wants to take you on a hayride journey to the witch’s house where she will tell stories and jokes and give the kids treats. At the end of the hayride, you will be able to roast marshmallows by a campfire. Will run through October 30.

The Great Pumpkin Carve

This three-day event at Chadds Ford Historical Society features more than 70 giant pumpkins carved into ghoulishly fun creations lit up by candlelight. There will also be a kid-friendly Haunted Trail and live music. The event starts on October 19 and runs through the 21st.

Witches of Narberth

In downtown Narberth starting around Forrest and Haverford Avenues, a hunt for “the witchiest witches around” will commence on October 28. Kids will be able to collect treats on the hunt and a prize when they return to the start.
