It is almost Halloween and time to fill up those trick or treat bags. According to CandyStore.com, the three most popular Halloween candies in Pennsylvania are Hershey’s mini bars, M&M’s, and Skittles.
Americans are expected to spend $3.6 billion on Halloween candy this year, writes Michelle Rotuno-Johnson for Patch.
CandyStore.com analyzed U.S. sales data from 2007 through 2022 to calculate the sweet rankings for each state.
Nationwide, Americans prefer to snack on Reese’s cups, with M&Ms coming up as the runner-up.
Candy corn also made the top ten in the nation. Tamales and sour patch kids were other favorites.
In another survey though M&Ms was the top candy.
