Goats & S’mores: Support The Philly Goat Project at its Oktoberfest-style Fundraiser

The Philly Goat Project is a nonprofit that provides animal-assisted therapy, childhood literacy, nature-based wellness, and youth job training.

Come and enjoy goats, s’mores and more on Saturday, October 14 at the Laurel Hill West Conservatory in Bala Cynwyd, writes Maggie Mancini for PhillyVoice.

The special Oktoberfest-style fundraiser is for The Philly Goat Project, a nonprofit that provides animal-assisted therapy, childhood literacy, nature-based wellness, and youth job training.

The event will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Attendees will also be able to enjoy tours of the historic grounds and participate in a silent auction.

Signed goat prints from photographer Jessica Kourkounis will be included in the auction and Philly Goat Project 2024 goat calendars will be on sale.

The event is for people aged 21 and older, but teenagers 14 and up are welcome if they come with a parent or guardian.

Tickets for the event are $75.
