For the past 13 years, The Black Cat Cafe has specialized in delicious food and helping cats find their forever homes.

The Black Cat Cafe is a well-loved fixture in Devon that helps kitties find their forever homes while serving great coffee and fare for the last 13 years, writes Ed Williams for the Main Line Today

A nonprofit culinary venture, the cafe is owned by PALS Pet Adoption and Lifecare Society. All proceeds go toward the pre-adoption care of felines that are injured, abandoned, or in danger of being euthanized at local kill shelters. Some of the adoptable cats greet the cafe’s visitors at its gift shop, which features a number of cat-centric trinkets and books.

“People feel good about patronizing a restaurant that not only has great food but saves the lives of cats and kittens,” said chef Judy Clemens, who has been with the cafe since 2016.

Her popular morning menu features hearty breakfast sandwiches, omelets, and pancakes, along with French toast. Those who have trouble choosing can try the Garfield Sampler.

Lunch offerings include homemade soups, salads, wraps, burgers, and much more. There are also vegan and vegetarian options.
