Montgomery County’s Restaurant Scene Just Experienced a Hot Summer; Here’s a Recap

Café Carmela, a popular Northeast Philadelphia Italian BYOB, now also has a Huntingdon Valley location.

The restaurant scene in Montgomery County had some hot new additions this summer, writes Michael Klein for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Just in case you have been away on vacation for most of the summer, here are some new debuts you may have missed.

Café Carmela

Café Carmela, a popular Northeast Philadelphia Italian BYOB, now also has a Huntingdon Valley location at 2975 Philmont Avenue. Both the décor — black and white photographs adorning the walls in the dining room — and the menu are sure to impress.

Gaucho’s Prime

Located at 220 N. Gulph Road in King of Prussia, Gaucho’s Prime is the brainchild of two alums of Fogo de Chão. This southern Brazilian steak house is sure to satisfy the carnivore in you.

Harvest Seasonal Grill

Harvest Seasonal Grill has moved across the street to 1100 Bethlehem Pike in North Wales. While the new location is more spacious, the farm-to-table-menu is still the same high quality as always.

Manny’s Deli Shop

The owners of Manny’s Restaurant and Delicatessen in Southampton now have a counter-service shop, Manny’s Deli Shop, in Willow Grove. The new address is 4003 Welsh Road.
