Chester County Town Makes List of Most Scenic Towns in Pennsylvania
With plenty of beautiful places to visit and history to enjoy, it’s no wonder that Pennsylvania has some of the best towns that are perfect for a day trip or overnight stay. This Chester County town made World Atlas‘ list of the 13 most scenic Pennsylvania towns.
It’s known as the county seat of Chester County with its array of old buildings, rich historical events, and being filled with restaurants and stores that will match anyone’s taste.
Home to over 18,000 people, the borough of West Chester has some of the most scenic views in the state. Add in the 14,000 students that attend West Chester University every fall and you get a bustling town and lively place to live.
West Chester has many local and corporate businesses, like QVC Studio Park which shows the magic of at-home shopping. More places to visit include the Chester County History Center which can school you on all the lore of the county, the nearby Brandywine River Museum of Art that houses Wyeth paintings, and a quick detour to Longwood Gardens reveals more of the beauty of the county as a whole.
It’s the perfect place to raise a family, retire, or be an alternative spot for young people to live instead of Philadelphia.
