A West Chester tea shop has an ambiance of English garden charm for customers of all ages, writes Bill Rettew for The Daily Local News.

At Mimi’s Tea Cottage, guests can choose from 35 types of bottomless tea among an assortment of baked goods for a 90-minute experience. Gluten-free goods are also offered.

The tea cottage is owned by Karen “Mimi” Klein who used to have a corporate job. Now she’s pursuing her dream of serving up delectable flavors of ginger peach, strawberry daiquiri, Earl Gray, and tropical fruit.

The cottage is lined with antiques that were brought in by the community.

“We are overwhelmed with how much support the community has given us,” said Chrissy Gizzi, designer and manager.

Monthly events are held at the cottage, such as baby and bridal showers. The establishment can seat more than fifty people and is open Thursdays through Sundays.
