The Menzingers, a punchy punk power-pop band on the cusp of its seventh album release filmed a music video in Elkins Park Lynnewood Hall, writes Michael Tanenbaum for The Philly Voice.

The song used in the music video was “Come on Heartache,” a single off the album “Some of It Was True,” slated to drop Oct. 13.

The slow-burn song was performed in the estate’s Great Hall and other sites. It was acquired in July by the Preservation Foundation following two decades of vacancy.

Philadelphia architect Horace Trumbauer, who also created the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Glenside’s Keswick Theatre designed the Neoclassical buildings.

Over 100 rooms, including a pool, ballroom, and art gallery are on the 34-acre property. The Foundation is planning on restoring the property to make it an educational or recreational space.

The Menzingers, a Philadelphia-based band, will perform at Franklin Music Hall in November.
