Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin, a Lansdale-based law firm, has named Bill Roark managing partner. He will take over for Steven Lupin, who has led the firm for 30 years, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Roark and Lupin have shared the role for the last year. Lupin will continue his practice at the firm.

Roark has been with Hamburg Rubin for 17 years and has been a partner for the last seven years.

The firm has been growing steadily and hopes to add a Center City office in the next six to nine months, according to Roark.

“The time has never been more right than now to establish a presence in Philadelphia, both for our strategic growth, but because our clients are expecting it because we can provide better services to them from different office locations,” he said.

“Last but not least, I think it’ll enable us to secure additional talent, having a location down there.”

The firm is also planning to add two partners and an associate in the next 45 days.
