The Main Line Area Is Serving Up Some of the Sweetest Water Ice Around
There is no better place to enjoy some sweet, refreshing water ice than the Philadelphia suburbs, writes Ben Silver for Main Line Today.
The Main Line area offers plenty of shops that have concocted their own sweet creations. Here are some places to try in and around Montgomery County.
Vera’s Water Ice
Located at 162 Saxer Avenue in Springfield, Vera’s Water Ice has been serving sweet treats to customers for more than 30 years. Popular flavors include pina colada, banana ripple, and butter pecan.
Rose’s Water Ice
Located at 4240 Pechin Street in Philadelphia, Rose’s Water Ice is known not only for its water ice but also for breakfast sandwiches too.
Pop’s Homemade
Located at 150 W Eagle Rd. in Havertown, Pop’s Homemade might appear to be just a simple roadside stand, but its menu is four-star. The owner Greg Collins is working on a specialty espresso water ice.
