Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, a Southern California-based restaurant chain will be opening its first Pennsylvania location at the King of Prussia Mall in late 2024, writes Emma Dooling for Philadelphia Business Journal.

The restaurant will be built on the site that formerly located the Fox & Hound. The Fox & Hound building will be demolished, and a newly redesigned restaurant will be built.

The new Lazy Dog Restaurant will offer its own unique twist on comfort food along with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients.

The menu will include a variety of salads, soups, sandwiches, and burgers as well as entrees like its Campfire Pot Roast, BBQ Bison Meatloaf, and Flat Iron Steak and special cocktails like the Smoked Maple Bacon Old-Fashion.

The King of Prussia Lazy Dog Restaurant location is being designed to have a western feel the brand describes as “Rocky Mountain Wyoming escape” with lodge-inspired furnishings like fireplaces, a ledge stone, and a chandelier made from Aspen logs. There will also be a large outdoor patio with a fire pit.

“We’re thrilled to join the growing and vibrant community of King of Prussia,” Chris Simms, founder and CEO of Lazy Dog Restauant, said in a statement. “Lazy Dog has been received with open arms as we’ve joined new neighborhoods and we can’t wait to be part of the community.”
