Unisys, based in Blue Bell, is one of four Greater Philadelphia companies, that ranked in the top 100 on Forbes’ 2023 list of America’s Best Employers for Women.

The Blue Bell technology solutions company was ranked No. 63 in the nation, writes Mikyhial Clarke for Philadelphia Business Journal.

The other three were Newark, Delaware-based W.L. Gore & Associates which ranked No. 23 in the nation, Newtown Square-based international software firm SAP which ranked No. 65 and Camden, New Jersey-headquartered NFI Industries which ranked No. 68.

Another Montgomery County company, Bimbo Bakeries in Horsham, also made the list, coming in at No. 281.

To compile this year’s list, Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to survey over 60,000 workers at companies with at least 1,000 employees. All government entities were excluded.

About 40,000 of those workers were women. The employees were asked to rate their company based on the working environment, salary, employee diversity as well as pay equity, parental leave policies, gender diversity, and career advancement opportunities.

The women were also asked about representation of women in upper management, and how employers responded to incidents of discrimination.
