After two years of planning and development, Kurt Klinger, a huge Phillies’ fan who lives in the tiny town of Trevorton in Northumberland County in upstate Pennsylvania, turned his dream into reality by finishing his own Wiffle ball field dubbed the “Mini Bank” after Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia in his backyard, writes Mackenzie Witt for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Klinger opened the field to his family and friends on Memorial Day weekend. Since then, local Wiffle ball teams have created the T-Town Wiffleball League, with even some residents of other nearby towns joining. And If there are enough people, the league usually plays on weekends.

“We need more people on the rosters to make up for the people that can’t make it,” said Klinger.

The field was envisioned and financed by Klinger. He built and painted plywood, posts, and lattice fencing to look like the outfield wall and fencing at Citizens Bank Park. Additionally, one of the walls features a scoreboard with statistics from a game the Philadelphia team played against the Los Angeles Angels.

“It’s so worth it,” Klinger said. “I just wanted people to come here, hang out, and have fun.”
