A restaurant that serves Philly’s favorite sandwiches is coming to Souderton. Peppe Steaks offers premium and customizable roast pork sandwiches, cheesesteaks, and hoagies, writes Ryan Kneller for WFMZ 69 News.

The independent sandwich shop is operated by Joseph Chiaro, who also runs a burger shop in Souderton. His parents shuttered the iconic Caruso Brick Oven Trattoria after 20 years of business.

Upon entering the establishment, guests can enjoy the ambiance of an eighties/nineties themed dining room.

They can choose from the already designed gourmet sandwiches such as “The Classic”, which includes steak and wiz cheese, or the “Go Birds” hoagie, which includes chicken, mushrooms, basil pesto, and mozzarella.

Patrons who are feeling creative have the option to create their own sandwich. They can choose from select proteins, rolls, cheese, sauce, free, and premium toppings.

Peppe Steaks also offers fresh sides such as fries and water ice. Its BYOB and open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday.
