Ackley Machine Corporation is recognized as a leader in pharmaceutical and confectionary printing, laser marking, laser drilling, and vision inspection technology.

Honey Brook-based R-V Industries, a leading industrial equipment manufacturer, has acquired Ackley Machine Corporation, a company in Moorestown, N.J., that is a preeminent source for pharmaceutical and confectionary printing, laser marking, laser drilling, and vision inspection technology.

“We are excited to add Ackley Machine to the R-V Industries family,” said Kirk A. Putt, president and CEO of R-V. “Ackley provided an opportunity to add both a high-quality product line and a team of talented individuals. We will leverage our collective strengths to provide the most innovative equipment solutions and services in the industry.”

Ackley’s Mark Ford, David Pressler, and Betty Bollinger will continue managing the operation and team of 30 employees out of the Moorestown facility.

“We’re excited to begin this new journey as part of R-V Industries,” they said in a joint statement. “By combining our strengths and our shared dedication to quality and innovation, we believe this synergy will elevate our capabilities and deliver enhanced value to our customers. This exciting partnership promises a future of growth and innovation.”

The Ackley acquisition continues R-V’s history of strategic growth through acquisition, following its recent acquisitions of MBC Aerosol, Genesis Packaging Technologies, AccuDraft, and Beta Star Life Science Equipment.

R-V’s industrial equipment solutions help produce many well-known consumer products and services, creating a better life for people around the world. The company serves a diverse set of customers across biotechnology, chemical, food and beverage, life sciences, nuclear waste, oil and gas, paper and pulp, pharmaceutical, and power generation industries.

“Since our inception 49 years ago, industry diversity has been a key element of our business model,” said Putt. “For our customers, employees, and suppliers, it delivers value in multiple ways: ensuring stability when economic downturns impact specific industries, creating value by enhancing efficiencies and scale, and providing growth paths and collaboration opportunities for our 300 employees.”

The Ackley acquisition also adds a New Jersey manufacturing location to R-V’s Pennsylvania and Illinois facilities.
