Manny’s Deli Stop, an extension of the Manny’s Restaurant and Delicatessen brand, is planning to open in Willow Grove, writes Justin Heinze for the Patch.

While the opening date for the 4003 Welsh Road shop is still unknown, the company has said it will happen soon.

“We wanted to shake up the Jewish Deli scene a bit … old school meets new school,” said co-owner Rob Woloshin. “A big factor of this is our customer service. When you are dealing with a Jewish deli where part of the genre is finicky, hard-to-please patrons and an amiably adversarial staff, we did set a high standard in this category.”

The business is co-owned by Woloshin and two brothers, Jeremy and Chase Thomas. The new Montgomery County location will be their second location. Their flagship home is in Southampton.

The group wanted to open a restaurant that would capture the spirit of traditional Jewish delis, while also creating something new.

The result was Manny’s, which was named after a cook at Camp Nock-A-Mixon, where all three spent summers together when they were children.
