Coming up with new medical treatments can be a daunting task. However, most scientists and other biotech employees are paid handsomely for their hard work, according to a recently released analysis from the biotech publication Endpoints News.
The analysis showed companies with the highest median pay in the biopharma industry tend to be smaller and based in popular hubs like San Francisco and San Diego, as well as in growing biopharma hubs such as the Philadelphia area.
Madrigal Pharmaceuticals, a West Conshohocken based company that focuses on the liver disease known as NASH, or nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, made the list in fourth place.
The company, which had 92 employees as of February 20, has a median pay of $441,396.
