The Hall of Famer has been interested in wine production since he was about six or seven years old. Growing up in the wine-producing region of California. He would help his family crush grapes for their own wine. His great-grandfather, Jean Louis Vermeil bought vineyards and fruit orchards in the Napa Valley.
