Known for its unique and popular small towns, Bucks County is home to two towns that are considered the best of the best in the area. Sandy Smith wrote about the towns in Philadelphia Magazine.

Riegelsville is located in the northern area of Bucks County. The town was named after Benjamin Riegel, a German man who established several mills in the town, as well as the nearby New Jersey town of the same name.

A quaint town, many come to the area to stay in the Riegelsville Inn, which has been in operation since 1838. Offering American-style fare and live music, the inn is a favorite amongst locals and visitors.

Quakertown, also located in the upper regions of Bucks County, is known for its fun small town vibes and rich local history, beginning with the namesake Quaker settlers.

For those going through this town, the Trolley Barn Public Market and the Historic Red Lion Inn are known for their great food and hospitality.
