Perfect Beach Day NJ is a Jersey Shore beach gear rental company that takes the hassle out of lugging all your beach gear down to the beach, writes Franki Rudnesky for PhillyVoice.

Lower Merion High School students, Sam Abella and Jude Vaughn, founded the business last year and this summer they have doubled their reach down the Jersey Shore by adding two employees and more shore locations.

Abella and Vaughan, friends since kindergarten, have spent many summers down the shore and saw firsthand the need to make beach trips easier for families.

“The main thing we strive for in our business is the convenience and leisure because we know how difficult, obviously, it can be putting your kids in the car, getting your stuff together,” Abella said.

“So we really just want to take away the hassle of a beach day and make it as fun as possible.”

Elias Toren, who previously attended Upper Dublin High School in Fort Washington before moving to Florida with his family, and Palmer Zarzycki, who attends Harriton High School in Bryn Mawr, have now joined Abella and Vaughn in the business. Each employee is in charge of a different territory.

The company serves Brigantine, Long Beach Island, Margate, and Ocean City.
