The rumor mill was working overtime Thursday when a story circulated that Taylor Swift was having dinner Thursday evening in Delaware County.

According to WMMR’s Preston & Steve, hundreds of Swifties of all ages hung out outside Autograph Brasserie at 503 W. Lancaster Ave. in the Eagle Village Shops hoping to get a glimpse of the performer. 

A rumor had started that Taylor Swift was inside the restaurant enjoying dinner before starting her three nights of performances at Lincoln Financial Field.

According to Autograph Brasserie staff, Swift was not actually inside the restaurant.

“Fearless Restaurants would be happy to have Taylor Swift join us anytime at any of our restaurants!” said Jamie Blackburn, director of public relations for Fearless. “And, unlike her boyfriends, we would never break up with her – unless of course, she wants to write a really good song about us!”

PhillyChitChat posted May 12 on Twitter, “The rumor about  Taylor Swift eating at Autographed in Wayne is just a rumor. You can go home now swifties and rest up before Philly Concert”.

The American singer-songwriter is in Philadelphia this weekend for Era’s Tour. She performs at Lincoln Financial Field on May 12, 13 and 14.
