A nationwide nonprofit will be opening a new store in the Bucks County area this week, complete with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Habitat for Humanity, which has its own Bucks County chapter, will be opening their latest ReStore location in Quakertown on May 19 at 9:30 AM. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will celebrate the new location and can be watched on Facebook Live.

The new location will be at 38 North West End Boulevard and will be open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 AM – 6 PM.

The organization also has ReStore locations in Langhorne and Warminster. Known for helping local residents find affordable housing, it regularly builds new homes in the area year-round.

“People in Bucks County and all over the world partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home,” the organization said online.

“Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With our help, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.”
