Five Saints Distilling, Norristown, has gotten Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) authorization to expand its sales and distribution efforts to 42 states and Washington D.C.

The border-widening move expands the brand’s transactional opportunities well beyond the PLCB array of Fine Wine and Good Spirits stores in the state.

“We are super excited about our expansion and availability to ship to these other states. Our new friends and family members around the country now get to taste our products,” said John George, Five Saints Distilling’s founder and distiller.

In the states allowing these types of sales, orders can be placed online for home or business delivery. Proof of age (21+) is still required, verified by adult signature.

Established in 2014, Five Saints opened its doors in 2016. Its product line includes:

  • Vodka
  • Tuscan Gin
  • Blood Orange Liqueur
  • PA “Bourbon Style” 100 Proof Whiskey

In 2018 the American Distilling Institute awarded Five Saints its “Best Repurposed Building to a Distillery” award. The distinction marks Five Saints’ renovation and use of the Historic Humane Fire Engine Company No. 1, which was built in Norristown in the late 1880s.
