Andrea Anigati Kramer is now chief operating officer for Hamilton Lane.

Hamilton Lane, a private market investment firm in Conshohocken, has a new chief operating officer, writes Jeff Blumenthal for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Andrea Anigati Kramer, 55, first joined Hamilton Lane in February 2005 and has served as a managing director since 2010.

Hamilton Lane serves both institutional and private wealth investors across the globe. Kramer’s primary role has been to oversee and manage client solutions and the global primary fund investment team. But she has worn many different hats for the firm.

From September 2020 through December 2022, she served as the chief executive officer and director of the firm’s sponsored special purpose acquisition company, Hamilton Lane Alliance Holdings I. And since April 19, she has also taken on the role of interim chief risk officer.

Before joining Hamilton Lane, Kramer spent time as managing director of Phoenix Rising Investments, as a general partner at Exelon, as a senior business development manager at PGW and as a fund manager for Murex Corp. She has an MBA in finance from Temple University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Franklin and Marshall College.
