Ethel's Artisan Vinegar, Collegeville, will be selling its unique blends at the Royersford Farmers Market, starting May 6.

The debut of the Royersford Farmers Market — a new means of accessing fresh produce, hand-crafted items, and bakery sweets — is just on the cusp its May 6 opening on 2nd Ave.

News updates about the community resource have been peppering Facebook, and Royersford Mayor Jenna Antoniewicz has been spreading the word as well.

The market will run each Sat. morning, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM until Nov. 11 at the Municipal Parking Lot on 2nd Ave. and Arch Street.

An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place June 3.

Among the vendors expected to be regulars are:

  • Mircogreens FX, a Schwenksville provider of kale, red cabbage, mustard greens, corn, sunflowers, sweet peas, and herbs
  • Sundry Mornings, the Linfield creator of cocktail mixes and marinades
  • Shawnee Greens, whose food products include quail eggs and fresh-baked bread and whose nonfood merchandise comprises watercolor-painted cards
  • Deer Creek Malthouse, whose staff is commuting from Delaware County to provide locals with barley tea, canned craft beer, stone-ground flour, and malty granola

The borough is still cultivating relationships with area growers and craftspeople; interested business owners should contact the market’s organizers by email or online.
