Eagles’ Jason Kelce Joins Brother Travis on ‘Saturday Night Live’
Winning the Super Bowl has its privileges beyond sports, as Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce recently discovered when he hosted Saturday Night Live.
Of course, being the second-best team in the NFL and being Travis’ brother worked out pretty well for Jason Kelce, too.
The Eagles center appeared with Travis in a sketch and during the opening monologue, which also included parents Ed and Donna, writes Rob Tornoe for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Travis admitted it was “pretty awkward” beating older brother Jason in the Super Bowl.
“Even though his team lost after being up 10 points at half, my brother is really happy for me,” Travis said as Jason offered his best mean look for the camera.
Jason also appeared in a sketch as the boyfriend in a skit that had Travis playing an engaged man running into his ex-girlfriend.
“Is this guy bothering you?” Jason said, pointing toward Travis’ character. “Do you need me to beat him up, because I definitely could.”
Jason was also in a prefilmed NFL commercial parody with Travis and Chiefs lineman Creed Humphrey.
Travis is the 12th NFL player or coach to host the show.
