Four New Restaurants Deepen Montco Culinary Scene — And There’s One More on the Way
If the run of new restaurant openings in Montgomery County is any indication, patrons are as hungry as ever to resume the post-pandemic treat of dining out. The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Michael Klein profiled four new restaurants open locally to serve them.
Catch 101
101 Ford Street, West Conshohocken
This cozy seafood spot replaced a former eatery and kept much of that entity’s bar, lounge, and booth seating, and smart dècor. Executive chef Hilary Hamilton runs the kitchen.
Harvest Seasonal Wine Bar
Providence Town Center
51 Town Center Drive, Collegeville
Dave Magrogan’s upscale farm-to-table concept has replaced the casual, sports-themed Champp’s. The interior has a bright, roomy bar; plenty of plants; and an open kitchen.
The Pullman Restaurant & Bar
39 Morris Avenue, Bryn Mawr
This romantic nook by Roni and Jennifer Hammer rocks a retro rail theme. Live music plays in the lounge, on Tues.–Fri. evenings.
Sauce BBQ
1003 East Main St., Norristown
Norristown-raised chef Tracy Pressley Sr. fires up his Southern Pride smoker for pork ribs, chicken, brisket, pork tips, smoked wings, and burnt ends.
Still in Development
Cafe Le Jardin, a BYOB in Audubon, is working toward a June opening.
