Kirna Zabête, a boutique in Bryn Mawr, could be cashing in on the latest trend in fashion, and it may involve a taboo style. The diamond belly dress is making its rounds on the Red Carpet, with the likes of the Hadid supermodel sister duo, Euphoria actress Alexa Demie, and model and entrepreneur Lori Harvey, writes Rory Satran for The Wall Street Journal.

Owner Beth Buccini said that the Soho store and its online site have sold out the Saint Laurent diamond-cutout midriff dresses. The dresses ranged around $3,000.

Fashion designer Michael Kors, who designed Lori Harvey’s cutout dress, says showing the belly button is “outrageous and elegant at the same time.”

Despite being most popular amongst Gen Z, they come in myriad styles and price ranges. However, not everyone may be comfortable with baring their midriff, despite the chic and cutting-edge style.

“You want to go to that fun party and be able to feel great in what you’re wearing, and not have to worry about having a bowl of pasta,” said Buccini.
