Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Coordinator of Student Services position.
The Coordinator of Student Services is responsible for developing and coordinating a comprehensive, college-wide approach to addressing the needs of students to strengthen enrollment and registration, improve retention, and increase academic success.
This position has college-wide responsibilities and requires travel between all campuses and off-site locations. The primary office location is the Blue Bell campus.
The schedule will be hybrid, consisting of four days on campus and one day remotely. This flexible work option
arrangement is in effect until August 31, 2023; however, the College will re-evaluate in February
The Coordinator is required to work weekends and Saturdays as needed.
This position requires the PA Child Abuse, PA State Police, and FBI Fingerprinting clearances.
The ideal candidate would have the following experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 2 years of Higher Education Experience (Community College experience preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience preferred
- 2 years of processing experience with system optimization work preferred
Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
- Understanding of Community College philosophy, practice, and population
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; highly organized
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with records/registration systems (Colleague preferred)
- Customer service experience
